    It's an interesting idea and I wouldn't put it past them, but I would have to ask for your sources and facts to support the suggestion that it's simply a government database in the making.

    If you put your name and picture online, law enforcement agencies would be stupid not to let that information aid an investigation.

    I know when my gf and I tried to trace the estranged daughter of a colleague of hers that died, we managed it in a few hours using publically available data. There is more information about you out there than you may be comfortable with, and kids seem to want to add more to the files.

    Game on! Might take a little longer to find anything useful, as all the sources of info I am registered for are UK only, so it'll take time to find and register for the equivalents.

    You already have a new classmate, and we have something in common it seems.
