What is your personal belief: Why did 911 happen?

If you say something like "because they hate our freedom", you imagine something like this?:

Ahmed and Ibrahim were quietly minding their business in the desert, aka fucking their goats, when Ahmed said:

"Ibrahim, I am tired of fucking goats! We should do something else!"

Ibrahim stopped and thought for a while:

"You know Ahmed, we could go to America, learn how to fly a plane and fly it into buildings. That would teach them not to sell us their crap! Boy, I hate their freedom!"

Thus the road to 911 started....

So that's how you imagine it?

it's so outrageous you wouldn't believe it.
nobody on this board has even come close to the answer.
has nothing to do wih OBL, iraq, saddam, terrorism, or anything else that has been discussed regarding the matter.

I imagine they see our wonderful American country and wish so badly they could have the same thing, but they cant because they are too stupid. So they try and destroy our cuntry (if they cant have it, neither can we.)

9/11 was a message, and that message was "quit fucking with us".

Boycotting Iranian oil and installing a new Iranian leader, while making sure that our share of petroleum was large and profitable. Our support of Israel while the nations of the Middle East disapproved. Selling weapons to both Iraq and Iran while they were at war, just for political gain. Not to mention US strategies for using Afghanistan as a staging area to fight against the Soviet army during their invasion. Of course, once the arms deals were made public, the US lost a lot of influence and respect from the nations of the Middle East. So they probably got a little upset and some extremists hijacked a few commercial jets and killed a bunch of people with them. But we couldn't stop fucking with them. Now we've got this perpetual "war on terror" bullshit. Oh, and now Russia is getting pissed off too.

 

From the tone of your post, I'm understanding that you approved of Osama's 9/11 attacks on the USA. So do you think that's the way everyone should respond to what they considered being "fucked with"? Whenever we feel that we're being "fucked with", we should just go out and blow up a bunch of innocent people? Is that the way you see things ...personal revenge and vigilantiism?
