:bugeye: The scam was discovered when one Japanese film star went on a talk show and was saying her dog would not bark or eat dog food. She was then advised her beloved poodle was actually a sheep, much to her devastation. It appears this opened the eyes of many of her fellow Japanese "poodle" owners who then began to call the police to say that they also thought they were sold sheep. One couple appear to have cottoned on to their false puppy when they took rover to have his claws trimmed. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! seriously? have none of these people seen a sheep before? i mean ive only ever seen a poodle on TV, but im sure i wouldnt confuse it with a sheep.
You'd think so wouldn't you? But it seems that sheep are rare in Japan and many have never seen one. However I would have thought they would have seen a poodle since they were so keen on getting one in the first place.
Enough not to notice the 'dog' had hooves and enough to go on TV to comment that the pooch did not bark and refused to eat dog food. Well, who'd want a poodle anyway? Yuck. There's a little scraggy wee one next door and it's the ugliest fucker I've ever seen. And it barks and bites and it's disgusting. Sheep are much nicer. Still, much too expensive for a sheep.
