Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! 5 times earth I hope it's a ice ball, the 2 most known ice...moons are ganymede and Titan, so they can have big atmospheres , yet there gravity are considerbly less so that each has less gravity then our own moon and still gold more then double the mass of our moon, if so then this would actualy be the first planet a men(/womem/cat you now what I mean) could sat food on. And don't die horrible (if he's properly protected offcourse)
The factors involved in whether or not someone can survive on another world are infinite. You must have sources of food and water, along with varying degrees of safety. I would doubt any survival possible on this new world, especially since there is likely to be no indiginious life.
It rotates such that one side is always day and one side always night (proberly). If it has a thick enough atmosphere then this will compensate for it. Considering the radiation doses gliese is a relative calm star but don't forget that ozone like in our atmosphere is produced by solar radiation. But your right that doses mmmight be high for ...terrestrial advanced life. Many primitive species on earth are capable to repair their dna afther high doses of radiation who knows what would have happend if that was mandatory... Besides there all always the oceans.
