The Principle of Utter Certainty is about the Universe's Black Holes and Dark Matter.
CERTAINTY has a life of its own
that feeds off anything, even devils and witches.
So when the certainty of devils and witches wane
then Certainty simply feeds off all the Certainty
that devils and witches leave behind
to be even more certain.
Until religions came along to make words appear to matter life/reality was a Magical Wonderland in which there were so many myths and legends, curses and blessings, that overall there were no absolutes. In a Magical Wonderland things just do not matter, they can, at best, only appear to matter.
Then religions were organized and they made things appear to matter more and more until they appeared rock-solid and thus CERTAIN. What religions made appear to matter the most was the devil and his witches that then materialized everything into the very rock-solid and thus CERTAIN Dark Ages.
So Religions materialized the Magical Wonderland by making it appear to matter so much that its appearance was rock-solid and thus CERTAIN ... specifically with the devil and his witches.
Science then came along and appeared to save mankind by getting rid of Religion's flat-Earth and absurd devil, and his witches, but it could not take care of what the Devil and his Witches had materialized into Certainty so that they, in turn, could appear rock-solid and thus CERTAIN. Science had to take religion's CERTAINTY and shift it from the Devil to what the devil left ... what the devil had materialized: the material Universe.
If science would have come along -- after throwing the flat-planet out and after throwing the devil and his witches out -- and take us back to the Magical Wonderland in which there were no absolutes... but it couldn't because although it could throw the devil out it could not discard all the CERTAINTY the Devil left behind for science to materialize with all its formulas even better: the devil's matter, the Material Universe.
Even when Physics' Uncertainty Principle is screaming , Physicist today can no more accept that mass/energy (the material Universe) is an illusion any more than the Pope in the Dark Ages could accept that the Devil and all his witches were the same illusion.
Thus nothing can/has changed between the Dark Ages and today: only the object of CERTAINTY has changed from the devil onto what the devil left behind to appear to matter: the material universe.
Scientists thus use all their equations to make the material world/Universe appear just as rock solid and certain as did the Pope make his devil and its witches appear rock solid and thus certain during the Dark Ages.
The only difference is that science has something the Pope never had to wake him up to his devil. Science has something that all its equations cannot seem to ignore: the Universe's Black Holes and Dark Matter.
As long as science works like the devil to make the 0% appearance of matter appear CERTAIN the more this CERTAINTY creates the 100% Black Holes and Dark Matter that is the “ Magical or Spiritual Wonderland” in the Universe that not only cannot matter but cannot even appear to matter.
