I see a shrugging emoticon. I see two arms, two hands, two shoulders ....

What is that phenomenon called? Umm ... the one where you imagine a line that isn't in the image because it completes the expected pattern? That's what I've been doing the whole time. I had no idea what the emoticon meant because I hadn't used it. But now that the question arises, it seems quite clear to me.
