Personally? No. But there are 200 comments on this at Digg and nobody doubted it. I bet several people saw it. And if it was not true, McCain's people would bitch about it by now...

I want to see him walk through Baghdad in broad daylight, no bullet proof vest, no 100 soldier complement, no Apache Gunships, and no Blackhawks.

If he does that, THEN he can claim he can walk through Baghdad freely. Walking with a huge security detail is NOT "free".
