My strategy: Nuke the entire USA using their own missiles. Does someone a better idea?

How many fatal acts of war have been completed by USA since 1919 ?

Yup, you guessed it: A MILLION.

Now if GREEN PARTY was in Power, that might be a different story.

The point is, there are millions of blood-thirsty Americans who want to plunder our world to the core and want to kill all of us and take over the world. How do we stop them?

The United States is a Constitutional Republic under a Representational Democracy system.

    It is not a Dictatorship.

Ergo, one cannot stop American Dictatorship.

It's rather like asking whether or not the president of New York city is black.

Is there a leader that has assumed power to Hitler's degree currently in office?

I hardly imagine we can give George Bush that credit.

That wasn't the point. The point was that you said the US was a democractic republic like it means something.

The DDR (east Germany for [ENC]Yankee[/ENC]s) was a democratic republic in name.

You forget that we are a Constitutional Republic. The constitutional provides means whereby dictatorship is in general protected against.

Constitutions can be amended. See your amendments. Constitutions can be overridden in name of fighting terrorism.

Revolution works. They are so hard to get started, particularly in good economic times. Just prepare and wiat for a good time to launch it.

    Spuriousmonkey:

It requires a 2/3rd majority in the congress to amend the constitution. To make a new amendment, 2/3rds majority in the congress + 3/4ths of the state legislatures.

Constitutional suspension can be overturn by the Supreme Court. The only time some rights were suspended actually was in The Civil War, when Habeas Corpus and Emminent Domain were suspended from their normal legal workings.
