Dark matter / negative energy is there a connection?

It seems both are conceptual constructs but is there a connection. Could they merely be elements of hyperdimensional aspects of matter?

I think the most intelligent thing we can know for sure is that we know very little about the Universe and I have to asume much of what we think we know is wrong until we learn more about what we don't know

declaring ignorance may be intelligent at times but sheds little light in theoretical discussions. The quasi paradox you speak of regarding the inability to know something new until you learn something new is always at play but is more of a playful notion than a true barrier to discovery.
