Someione tell me why are people so dead-set against racial profiling? Why do some consider it bad science? Coroners (those chaps and ladies who cut up dead people) use racial profiling every day, all around the world to identify bodies. There ARE differences in humans depending on where their ancestors came from. Why do people see this as a bad thing? PS: I know, but I want to see what people think of this matter.
I think it probably comes from the fact that racial profiling has often had racist overtones. It's only been a few decades since the whole politically correct anti-racist thing has been accepted in mainstream society, before then (and still now in some circles) identifying people's race (if they weren't white) was often part of a racial slur or dis. So I would think people are still touchy about it. Of course this is just me speculating, being a white person, I don't know for sure. Io
