I have never met a computery type person who says E-commerce, I-Shopping, and all those stupid terms. Seems to me only the computer illiterate marketing executives say that stuff. Anyone got any gripes about those evil corporate suits and the way they turn the industry into a marketing exercise?

Because a computery type person lives in E-world/I-world. So instead of calling every thing with E-thing, he truncate the 'E-' for short.

    Hi Adam,
Have you ever read Bill gates in several works, most of it he refers E-commerce or E-transactions.he is not the only one who uses the word E-commerce or E-business.several big executives, like Creig Barret of Intel fame during a seminar that i attented with Dad in Singapore, was the classic and most frequent user of the above words.????but whats the point?i dont quite understand the question that you pose.

I've never heard Bill Gates give any speech whatsoever. I'm generally not interested in such things.
