I havn't had a chance to look through it throughly, but I intend to see if he has actually presented any mathematical arguments, or if he's just a complete nutcase. I know there's some math trickery where one can make a case for geocentricity, but I'm not sure how it works...

Anyway, just thought this was... amusing? No, that's mean, I'll say "interesting".

The basic cosmology appears to be correct. However, I see that it makes no attempt to take into account the latest cutting-edge theories which hold the existence of the universe to be contingent upon the existence of 'self-aware energy' that can perceive it. See here.

Sometimes I despair of Humanity--quite often in fact. At least once a day

I always find it humorous (and even insulting) when someone without a robust understanding of anything that has to do with physics claims to have a theory of everything, or that Einstein's equations are wrong, or that quantum mechanics is wrong, or that the Earth is the center of the universe. To me these people are as bad as people who claim evolution is wrong, or that the Earth lives on the back of a giant turtle. And MAN do they hate being told that their arguments hold the same scientific worth as those that claim that the universe is only 6000 years old.

The biggest culprits that I have found in my short stint here are:

    Zanket for this http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=61902.
    IacAgeCivilizations, again and again.
    singularity, for this http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1301997&postcount=66.
    Mosheh Theron, who aparently.....hasnt.....learned......to......write......in.....paragraphs.

Other websites which represent a complete misunderstanding of one aspect of physics or another...

I especially liked where the Geocentrists compared string theory to the mystical Kabalaa. I think everyone in the department is getting this one.

Well you read it on the net..

From a site that is amongst the worst examples of online publication.

    It must be true.

It still amazes me that people with such narrow minds can operate the font and colour dialogs with such ease and abandonment.

There is no humour, there is no fun in this site.

It worries me more that people should find humour in such. It shows that at a fundamental level there is a juxtaposition against self defined beliefs. So similar yet differing in an absurd verity. Its funny because you are dictated by the same needs. Let science, unfeeling, un-opinionated, uncaring science resolve our understanding not fundamental deep rooted faith.. How sad..

A PhD is just a sign post. It signifies that you were able to jump through the appropriate hoops and relegate yourself to a few years of indentured servituded.

I say this as one who is seeking a PhD in the near future.
