I have FINALLY connected all of the 4 pcs in my house to the internet after a week or longer of the runaround from tech people that knew no more than I. I have sbcglobal.net dsl modem connected to the WAN port on the router (nbg600) and all of the 4 pcs (host & 3 clients) connect to a 10baset hub. the hub and gateway are connected at their uplink ports to each other with a crossover cat 5 cable. the hub is a 5 port with uplink port.
All pcs are accessible via Lan or Wan & they have blazing speed too. I set up 1 client for visable net access to play games.
It took me awhile to figure out but 1nic, 1 router & 1 hub using Sygate for additional security (router provides alot) also tweaked the tcp/ip settings, mtu, etc. The added bonus is that the router takes care of the PPPoe and I don't even have to use Enternet 300. Thats good to me since it was not as fast as it is now.
If anyone needs any more info email me @clawana@aol.com
Dslreports.com has tests that helped me figure out the correct settings for the tcp/ip.
