Objection to the Closure of "SAT Scores and Gender"

Routinely threads which "drift off topic" - and by the way, we were still actively discussing the main point - are allowed far more leeway, yet this thread was closed. Moreover, no "racist" comments were made with anything but scientific rigour. No insults against any races were levelled. Accordingly, I would have this thread reopened.

What say the rest? Including Lord Hillyer, the bringer-up of the topic?
