THROW THE JEW DOWN THE WELL! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! The song was pretty catchy. And let's face it, which country hasn't wanted to throw a Jew down the well?
I've seen it several times. I even posted a link to the same video myself recently. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I recommend that everyone clicks the link and watches it. But they should first be aware that 'Borat' - or rather Sacha Baron-Cohen - is himself Jewish, and appreciate the heavy irony of a white British Jew singing anti-semitic country and western ballads to an audience of pig-thick american rednecks. Only then can they appreciate exactly whats so funny about it.
red: You shouldn't have said that. Now we won't get to see everyone' indignant outrage. 'HOW DARE THAT SOVIET BASTARD CRITICIZE THE JEWS!'
ah yes, the hunting of the jew, a few months ago i too went hunting jews with kazahks, happy days !!!
redarmy: If you look at the reactions on the video, you start to wonder whether the majority of the people are anti-semitic, or whether they finally realized that it was a joke (they were aware that they were being filmed, one of them looks at the camera nervously). Or maybe, even if they thought he was being offensive as hell, it was pretty impressive that he had the balls to stand up and sing an anti-semitic song. For example, note that when Borat first mentions the Jew being a problem, the woman with the glasses gives him a glare. By the end, she's singing and clapping as well. That's pretty quick to change one's attitude about a religion... I think it's funny how the vast majority of girls in the bar are enjoying the song, while their boyfriends (?) look quite nervous and unhappy. Hmmmm.... But that's why I enjoy Borat. He often tests the waters by saying some raw stuff, and we can observe the audience's reaction. And it often turns out being hilarious.
I know. I couldn't stop laughing. It's one of the funniest things Borat has ever done. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! You should see the scene where he gets a massage...
