vagina of the sea

I'm not trying to be funny but I was at a restaurant eating some mussels the other day and I was ruminating the possibility that we evolved from a mussel. It is obvious that a reproductive system was the first to evolve. The mussel appears to be a vagina with an appendage similar to a penis. Needless to say the more I thought about it, the less appetizing it was. Heh
