Yeah that was the idea, but I sense you are going to say you dont want to be, for the reason of being one of those little green ugly guys that pop out from under bridges and scare small children.

You should hold them for specific subforums.. out of the ten that want to be mods (which is probably how many are serious about it or even capable), a few might become mods.

You could do a poll that is multichoice and ask the poeple to select 5 out of the ten they would like to see become a mod (subforum aside.. that is a different matter).

Anyway hook me up. I am not sure if I really would like to be a mod but it would be interesting to see where I stand (even for something simple like "about the members."

Anyway, isn't it better to have an idea of how well you will do before you even start? Right now I have no clue. I'd just make an e-ass out of myself if I keep asking to be a moderator then later find out I didn't even get 1 vote. I really have no clue how the general SF member feels about me as a member. I know I have a couple of enemies and half-enemies, for sure.

Oh well. Do as ya'll wish. I got classes today.

Elections are too boring. I will only run for mod if the chosing process involves battling all challengers to the death.

 

Free thoughts if they allow it.

I do not hang out much in any of the other forums (physics sometimes... random posts everywhere though). Forums like About Members and the cesspool do not even need a seperate moderator.

On a side note.. I am up for having Sarget Lard as moderator. I think he is due for a position.

And I know a few positions are opening like Philosophy since Xev is MIA.

 

What is your vision for freethought subforum?

 

I dont think thats going to be an option, a hundred people have viewed this and only 2 humans have shown any interest in being a mod.

I'd offer, but I don't really know what I'd moderate - free thoughts would take too much time, and the other forums I post in are pretty much covered anyway.

Maybe because posting one's desire to be a mod in this thread automatically precludes one from the possibility of ever becoming a mod.

It hasn't even been made apparent that new mods will be asked for.
