Can we map the internet?

    The internet has grown exponentially from its inception, providing information (of all kinds) to all people at their fingertips.

    Can we map the internet ever? Or is this a sign that the virtual world of digital technology has overtaken our ability to keep up with it?

    What implications does this have for the future?
