By my rough count of total number of posts it seems we are almost at the one millionth post. i wonder who it will be. will it be you ? will you be staying up to the wee hours with a scientific calculator fevourishly counting and re-counting ? setting up threads ready to claim it ? current Posts on sciforums: 1,101,682 Perplexity had post No. 1,000,000 http://sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1000000 His reward was a ban.
That would have been samcdkey about 3 months back. See: http://sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1101693 I don't know why monkey's blithering on about the Cesspool but we're way past what he said. I expect he'll be along in a bit to explain how he got it so disastrously wrong.
Admittedly the Cesspool does stop post counts ontop of that the number of spam posts over the years too would have altered where the 1mil mark was anyhow, so you could suggest Technically Perplexity didn't actually post the 1 millionth post.

"its all realy simple this world domination thing"
That's true. It's a little known secret that I in fact made the 1millionsthhhstph post. And then I deleted it because it contained useful and interesting information.
I'm a bit confused. If we count cesspool posts as posts (they are) and spam posts as posts (they are), does that mean that my interpretation of the post count is right, and that everyone else's is wrong?
ahhh creativity and orininality, Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! i knew him well R.I.P, on with the terro, oops i mean war of terror, oops i mean war ON terror. In the dying of the mind Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night Words: Dylan Thomas Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
