Seeing that Prince James feels so violently about the whole thing, I thought it would be interesting to get a sciforums perspective on it.

    Who is Prince James ?
    and
Who reported that he had made a comment and do you have a link to the quote ?

    "other" (please explain)

I try not to hate because hate eats at the soul like a virus and leaves you with less ability to love.
if one hates for too long then one "may" become unable to love.
Hating people and things requires energy, said energy is better spent in other ways constructing things and helping peopel who wish to develop themselfs into better people.

Let me frame my stance for you.
I have no mercy for those who perpetuate acts of violent cruelty against others when they are not immediately suffering from a diagnosable mental illness.
They cease to become a valid form of life and only serve as practice to excise such disease that a farmer would from a crop to save the rest of the plants or animals.

    People choose violence!
That is something that should never be forgotten.
when people choose violence they give up their right to being treated in a non violent manner(for intervention to abate that violence in action) in my opinion.
i do not support capital punnishment and think prisons should be used for holding such violent anti society people until they die of old age.
    But...
Sometimes a violent defence is required to stop a violent act.

This theory is devoid of any religous leaning other than non violent protest should be a human right and is something i repsect regardles of what they may choose to protest about.
Non violence should be cradled by organised government if they wish to have a non violent Society.

Why? Have William and Harry abdicated their privileges? (not even considering Charles that old biddy)

What is your stance on the Iranian president?

my Veiw is he seems (in the single TV interveiw i watched) to be a fairly well clued up and on to it person.
Side note: i hope he is not one to beleive in the martyre type action against civilians.

What it sounds like is Prince James has been watching or has been fed too much TV properganda.

note there are many who think the capital punnishment noted in the bibble should be reinstated as common law.
I do not support the shari law dictating violence against people and do not support capital punnishment

Education should be an aspiration Knowledge should be a path of commonality
here is a little quick research for you.

i will leave it there as that is a fair bit to read.
i have read up on such liek storys and know a fair bit of the type of things that go on so have no desire to wash my mind with the blood of innocents just to familiarise myself with case by case specifics.

I am sorry to any one who is a little sensative to these topics but i suggest in such a case you take it in small doses with breaks and take time out to find comedy and happynes in your life.

I've heard about the interview. Sadly, I missed it and was able to watch only a small clip on youtube (which has since been removed).

PS I hope you are right about the martyr stuff.

Of course, but if you've already voted, I don't think its possible now.

You may of course write whatever you wished to convey.

I voted that I don't hate Muslims. My observation of them so far is they are just like any other religion--- they have individual members who are "normal rational people", and others who are not.
