Try to think, looooong ways back, what was the first movie you can recall seeing ever in your life?

For me it was "The Legend of Hell House". I don't think I was even in school yet, but we were all loaded up into the station wagon and my parents took us to the Capitol Drive-In in San Jose, California.

My parents had weird ideas of what was appropriate viewing for small children... :bugeye:

    That's an interesting question.

I remember seeing a movie, but I don't remember the name. It was some animated movie, and there was this old man that scared me. Much of it took place in the forest. This one scene had a bassoon or something as the background music, and I didn't know what was making that noise. That's all I remember about it.

Though I also remember seeing Beauty and the Beast, and Bambi around that same time period.

Some Freddy Kruger movie. It was a scene where (I think) Freddy was on the phone... in a broken building... in someone's dreams.

That night I had a nightmare about him, too. He was at the top of the stairs stealing our books... then he wanted to kill me.

The next oldest movie I remember was when I watched about 20 minutes from a porn movie my parents had hiding in their room. I was probably about 7 or 8. The two scenes I remember were two lesbians masturbating in a barn and a female was in prison and had to "change clothes" for the male guard.

I remember getting a stiffy and asking myself "what is that white stuff?"

    Earliest I can remember...
The Jungle Book - certainly the first film I saw at a cinema (rerelease, obviously - I'm not that old!)

I doubt that it was the first, because my parents used to take me to the movie theatre often from a very early age, but one of the earliest movies I ever saw and which left an impression was 'The Blob', it was a horror flick about this alien that looked like a stream of marmalade and which used to dribble onto its victims and devour them turning them into blobs of jelly.

"The Wizard of Oz." It was 1950 or 1951. That was one hell of a movie. I still love it.

I think "the lost boys", this 80's "corey" movie about vampires, at least that's the first movie I remember watching.
Or it could have been "Dark crystal", or even this cartoon robin hood where robin hood was a fox.
I'm not sure which came first, but I saw these 3 movies very young.

Hmm, I certainly saw the Disney version of Robin Hood (which has Robin Hood as a fox) quite young - pretty much every Christmas, it was shown at my primary school.

No I mean I saw it from the movie. The prison guard was spraying it all over her ass.

"The Dark Crystal" is another of my all-time favorites. It's in a class with "The Wizard of Oz."

Oh.. another movie I remember would be "It."

I do not recall watching any better movies than those three. It's probably because I was more fascinated with horror and "shock value."
