    Imagine if the world was a utopia: it would be boring and what is the point of life? Why would God care if everything is "all good?"

    On the otherside of the spectrum: an all-evil world accomplishes nothing. It's quick to self-destruction. What is the fun in that?

    You have to consider why a higher being would want a universe with intelligent beings (assume that there is a being. However, given the question we can assume we were created with intent).
