The risk of being killed by lightning or a bee sting is approximately the same as this spinach. If you're worried about dying then wear a helmet when you walk around the house. Hundreds of people die from falling down at home every year.

Organic doesn't mean "safe." Mushrooms are organic.. but if you pick the wrong ones, you get sick. But I am just picking definitions. Organic foods grown specifically for eating should be safer.. but are generally not the best tasting foods (but then again, I was raised on sugar).
Salads don't taste great, but are very good for you. Candy taste great, but it is crap. So good taste is not something organic foods have very often. Ya know why? Cause corporations adore putting a whole bunch of addictives on foods so that people can get hooked on them. And yes, organic doesn't mean safe. But if you go to a store, organic is the healthiest choice.
well basically the word "organic" as it was used in my post was to infer living organisms, not a marketing strategy.
