Hello. I speak to you who reads.... I wonder somethin'. Tell me if as a persons life goes forward (time) they suffer more? Can time be benificial? Assuredly it can, be harmful. Am I on the right track? I'm back! I won't visit as often though.
Tell me if as a persons life goes forward (time) a part of them is being eaten? Is this relevent to the soul? Questions like this. And, .... much, much more
brent: everything that has ever happened, is happening, or will happen.....is all at the same moment. time is a singularity, not a line. our perception of it is an illusion, due to our flawed senses.
Interesting thread then. If ONLY you fuckers would tell the full story so I can see it for myself. tablar you may have to PM me what they are about that. I agree, finally, with the poster who says "it's what you make it". That is plain and simple, if someone has will if someone does not. Either way, same remains. Brent
Ever hear "that which doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger?" Time makes you stronger. Unless it cripples you. So keep those fingers away from spinning blades.
Of course time kills you. Life is lethal, always and forever. The end is inevitable. Best to just live, then. Getting focused on the end leads to wacky behavior. Depression, belief in the supernatural, looking to future answers, hundreds of years away. Wishful thinking, vain hope. Raising the dead in grotesque mockeries of life, creating a monsterous horde of reanimated corpses, too horrible for the sane mind to concieve, all in an elusive quest to postpone death. No my friend, it is best to acknowledge that time is a slow and silent killer, then move on to something not as depressing or lame. There is a relativistic method for living forever. Time flies when you're having fun, right? Never have fun, never become excited, never enjoy anything, be in constant misery. Then you'll live forever.
I disagree roman. I think you are missing some of the point. But other than that I must complement you you write well.
The question you've posed is probably something Buddha considered when he created the "4 noble truths" around 2500 years ago. Btw- I'm an atheist, I'm only bringing this up due to similarity. I'm not trying to spam the thread with wacko-new age crap.
