    Looking thru my cabinet and thought to wonder........ What is the history of Long Island Iced Tea? Some of you might care to share?

    It was originally brought upon the Americas through trading in the southeast of france, where, to many peoples dismay it was being charged for at quite high prices. When they imported it to the USA it was then the price began dropping because the lands here were still new an developing tastes for the finer goods one might acquire through trading. Later in around 1909 settlers began selling it in local food stands for the equivalent of 10 cents today.

    Locally there has been much medicinal quaility associated with this tea, it was believed anyone that drank of it would instantly know this was all BS hahaha
