Hey just wondering if anybody ever plans on joining either of the two; i know they are compared alot.I've heard the S.A.S operators are me experienced than SEAL operators, but they are both bad-ass.I am going to bud/s in two years, unless i go to a naval academy first.I really can't see me doing anything else in the military. Unconventional warfare is definently growing...unfortunantly. Adam(thomas)
Umm.. did you pass the tests to be able to go to BUD/S? Are you even in the Navy yet? Say you fail the tests to get into BUD/S. You are stuck with a 6 year contact in the Navy. You should look into the Discovery Channel's Class 234 BUD/S training video. You can download it off bit torrent or just buy it. It's a 6 hour long documentary on BUD/S. You'll see what kind of shit you have go to through in 6 months.
And even AFTER you pass the tests, <30% actually graduate. You got to be strong and have lots of endurance. Most Trainees quit. Do you know the requirements?
