I just watched the movie and I have but one comment: that movie spiraled way the fuck out of control.

Besides the terrible acting from Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the ending was so ridiculous. The first half describes the lustful affair between Jonathon and Scarlett, and then suddenly he murders her with a shotgun? WTF?! That came out of no where. The rest of the film before that made him seem infatuated with Scarlett and desperate to leave his "boring" wife --are we just supposed to go along with the fact that he has a completely groundless change of heart and decides to slaughter two people?

    any thoughts?

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I plan to. I love Woody Allen.

The whole love affair was boring too. I think they called a 'sexy thriller with an unexpected ending' on the sleeve. There was nothing sexy about it. Scarlet was wearing some nice outfits I guess. But that doesn't make it sexy. Or believable. Or good.

Two thumbs down from da monkey...
