i have never seen a book turned into a moive without the book first being lost to the prostitutes of fashion. why can hollywood not simply transform an already well writen peice of literature into a movie good enough to watch, staying true tot he book
Ever seen the Harry Potter films? They're done pretty closely to the books. What you apparently fail to grasp is that there's a fucking thing called "time constraint". Film directors usually try to make thier movies 2 to 2.5 hours long. Maybe 3 if it's an epic. Anything more, and people probably won't go to see it, thus defeating one of the main purposes of putting the movie into theaters in the first place: to pay back the costs of making it.
