Has mel been brainwashed it looks like he has been enlisted by al qaeda,
will we see him being tortured at guantanamo bay by mad max the chief romanian torturer there.

Or does he actually think he is jesus christ, this beard looks about right for the time then, the guy who played jesus christ on the set was actually hit by lightning during filming the passion of christ in italy

Actor Jim Caviezel has been struck by lightning while playing Jesus in Mel Gibson's controversial film The Passion Of Christ.

The lightning bolt hit Caviezel and the film's assistant director Jan Michelini while they were filming in a remote location a few hours from Rome.





Has mel seen the lightning strike as some kind of awakening, & he has been reincarnated as christ?

Has mel seen the lightning strike as some kind of awakening, & he has been reincarnated as christ?Well, it wouldn't be THAT far off, since it says in the Bible that, as lightning is seen from each horizon so will the return of christ be.

But I rather interpret it as something that will be known throughout the world, than a lightning hitting Caviezel :)

As Mel Gibson is a Christian he should know those things, however we don't know how those things will unfold. No one can say that Mel Gibson isn't to become the christ (but it's a very vague notion).

As Christ knew that He was Gods Son, so will He know that He is Christ when He return, I doubt that Mel Gibson know that. But it's also only speculations that Mel Gibson would think himself as Jesus.

A Christian stand is to strive to be Christ-like. To be in the likeness of Him and to follow His examples. If Mel Gibson for that reason (or for whatever other reason he may have) has decided to grow beard, then I can only encourage him.
