I had a thought...uh oh... What if this was a test run at taking down the muslim's other mosque at the temple mount in israel so as to build the third temple????

They the jews have stated in the past they would do it if necessary ...what if this has all been to see what will happen and or to set the stage to blow-up that mosque?!?

It's not like israel is a honorable Country or anything, look at they're track record for the Proof unless you blind, deaf and/or stupid.

Arabs, Israelis prepare Temple Mount showdown
Jewish, Muslim groups plan major protests at same time on explosive holy site next week

JERUSALEM – A Palestinian Temple Mount leader with alleged links to Hamas has called on Arabs to flood the holy site next weekend to protect it from "Israeli protesters," while a Jewish group is urging Jews to ascend the Mount en mass the same day.

The announcements come one day after an Israeli soldier who refused orders to participate in this month's planned Gaza withdrawal killed four Arabs and wounded 19 others in a shooting attack, fueling tensions here and prompting Arab calls for revenge.

Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement, a Palestinian Temple Mount activist group, called on Arabs Friday to "defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque" Aug. 14, the day Jews commemorate the destruction of the First and Second Temples with a 25-hour fast.

Iraq shrine bombing was specialist job: minister

    Fri Feb 24, 2006

    >>>BAGHDAD (AFP) - The bombing of a revered Shiite shrine which sparked a wave of violence in Iraq was the work of specialists, Construction Minister Jassem Mohammed Jaafar said Friday, adding that the placing of the explosives must have taken at least 12 hours.

"According to initial reports, the bombing was technically well conceived and could only have been carried out by specialists," the minister told Iraqia state television.

Jaafar, who toured the devastated thousand-year-old shrine on Thursday a day after the bombing which brought down its golden dome, said "holes were dug into the mausoleum's four main pillars and packed with explosives."

"Then the charges were connected together and linked to another charge placed just under the dome. The wires were then linked to a detonator which was triggered at a distance," the minister added.

To drill into the pillars would have taken at least four hours per pillar, he also estimated.

Damage to the mausoleum, holding the tombs of the 10th and 11th Shiite Imams, was extensive.<<<

Like Al Quida aren't specialists? The Temple Mount is holy to Jews, too.

So if it's holy to them as well, they have a right to blow up the Islamic site of Masjid Al Aqsa which is the 3rd holiest site in Islam. Israeli injustices against Islam have been under reported to the West, but we Muslims know all about it.

Israel digging up Islamic Cemetery to build Museum for Religious Tolerance

Many Muslims, Shiat and Sunni, think the West, US and UK, were involved in this. Some of the violent clashes was due to instigating violence to stunt Iraqi resistance. But I believe eventually this will backfire on the West.

You just don't want to admit that other muslims don't have the best interests of Iraq in mind when they incite sectarian violence.

Wow, what a shock. Unfortunately for them, everyone else stopped listening to their conspiracy theories years ago. That's what happens when you cry "It's an American/Jewish conspiracy to destroy Islam!!!" every time a freaking lightbulb burns out.

I was refering to bombing of the tomb of Hazrat Salman Al Farisi (radhi allahu anhu) in Iraq. He was also a saint of Sunni Muslims so it is against Islam to bomb his tomb. Muslims could not possibly bomb the grave of their own saint, that is too odd.

But you probably believe that the US bombed it's own Pentagon and World Trade Centers, right?

Israel will rebuild the temple some day.....
So the mosque on that site must be destoyed.
The way the muslims are killing each other, maybe they will destroy it for the Israelis.

i have a feeling that when the temple is rebuilt, it will be ALONGSIDE the dome of the rock, not on top of it's rubble.

So, Visitor, is it possible to hurry up the apocalypse by deliberately making the prophecies happen? Were they supposed to be instructions? I say this because I think it's the only reason some Christians support the Israelis.

    Yep.

Gotta love self-fulfilling prophecies. That's usually how most prophecies come true anyways.

The problem is not about Bayt al Maqdis, Dome of the Rome which is a holy shrine, but not the third holiest mosque in Islam. The problem is that excavation has already started under the Masjid Al Aqsa, which unlike the Dome of the Rock, is the third holiest place in Islam. Masjid Al Aqsa is suppossedly sitting on the remains of the old temple of Solomon which Jews want to dig up to speed the return of the Messiah, some Chrsitian evangelists also fund this effort. The Imam of the Holy Masjid has already stated that the ground is already fragile from illegal excavation by the Israeli government. Sharon's visit to the place started a fierce intifada. If the Masjid crumbles, this would be all-out war against Israel from the Muslim world. The western-friendly governments wouldn't be able to control their own populations. The Israeli government forcefully violates the rights of the Palestinians in Jerusalem (Al Quds) every chance they get. From digging up graves to firing on demonstators to banning adult men from attending the Masjid. The attacks against Islamic holy sites in Israel is a major problem, while the Palestinians have a completely opposite record of preserving and rebuilding ancient Biblical and Islamic shrines.

they do not preserve and rebuild biblical shrines.
if so, then why did they build a temple on top of what is widely believed to be the site of solomon's temple?

it was a "nnnyyyaaaahhh" kind of statement.

although i agree with the rest of what you said, and i am jewish.

I was dreaming there would be a temple of all religions on temple mount in Jerusalem some years ago. Now I dream there is no religion in the world - nobody can justify his greed of possesion by god's willigness.

Well the Temple was destroyed two times already. Once by the Babylonians and the Romans, both of whom massacred and enslaved many Jews. When the Muslims had conquered the land from the Romans who were Christians at the time, Hazrat Omar (radhallahu anhu) the second Khalifah built in that place Masjid Al Aqsa. The building had been razed by the Romans and had never been rebuilt. After this, the Jews were treated quite fairly and equitably by the Muslims for almost ten centuries along with the Christians. Proof of this is due to the fact that many shrines and temples of both Christians and Jews were well preserved. Only during the Crusades did the Mosques, Churches, and Temples fall under attack from the Crusaders.

So the building did not exist when the present Mosque was built, and Muslims have ruled the terrority for more than 1000 years. It was only during the creation of Israel and eviction of the Arabs that Muslims lost possession to this territory.

If there is going to be any decision made on the status of the Holy shrines of the city it should be done with dialogue between Muslims and Jews, and not unilaterally as the Israeli government is doing. This is in the best interest of all.
