The whole Muslim vs. Anything Non-Muslim, situation tells us that (some) Muslims can express a dislike for us (All Westerners etc). Therefore, where is the point that the Westerner's can express a dislike of the Muslim Race?

Has the West’s striving to create a tolerant society actually created an intolerant society? Maybe Westerner’s would not be so upset about the Muslim anti-western position if we were generally aloud to express a dislike of a race that is appearing more and more to disapprove of us? Maybe Muslims would not feel secure enough to raise such blatant protests against Non-Muslims if the west was not striving to uphold a tolerant position?

What would the situation be like now if WWII were being played out in this modern social climate? Would we all be saying the Germans are of equal rights and value to us, "we are at War old chap but lets not say anything bad about the Germans”?

    muslims aren't a race.

    This isn't a race issue.
It's also not a religion issue.
I have plenty of muslim friends, that don't go around doing crap.
The west preaches tolerance and stuff because disliking a race/religion because of what a small minority of them do something is simply stupid.
and personally I think those people who did that stuff are retarded for the same rasons. Nobody is telling you to like those people, we're telling you to have common sense and not generalize it and dislike the WHOLE religion.

Well, we see a lot of that on sciforums alone.

How tolerant do you think Western society is, in general? We don't see much tolerance for people of other races or religious beliefs - except that enforced by law.

In fact, many soldiers in WWII recognised that the soldiers they were fighting were very similar to themselves. They knew that the average cannon-fodder foot soldier didn't have much choice.
