Here's what Republicans saw: - The budget deficit is fast declining. - God approves this budget. - The rich deserve more tax cuts.
It's insane, and the budget for Iraq isn't even included. I don't see why borrow and spend is better than tax and spend.
Yep, it's a budget to be expected when 52% of Americans are asleep at the wheel (i.e. Republicans). The country will be raped then, and raped hard & fast lest they wake up. Because a portion of the spoils now being showered on the rich funds advertising and other efforts to keep the sheep sleeping, it seems a forgone conclusion that the US will be in tatters within a couple decades, esp. since so many will be retiring (on little savings and sharply reduced Social Security no less). The only solution I see is to emigrate while the getting is good, before the dollar is worth a small fraction of what it is now against other major currencies. Or at least hedge by buying foreign currency now.
