They go hand in hand, have you noticed?

The intense debates, fueled by cynicism, may put posters into a state of great introspection, but also make them sensitive in their observation of others and the relationships people have with one another. These debates may also prompt them to ponder how they present themselves, and how they conduct themselves, and work out creative ways of self-presentation.
This, combined with the sexually oriented topics they debate, may put them into a state of infatuation. Whereby the infatuation needn't be with someone in particular, it can also be an infatuation with oneself, or with the notion of being infatuated.

One might almost call this place a sea of love ...

You'll have to spell it out for me, I'm afraid. I'm a bit slow on the uptake, being an introverted semi-intellectual with damaged interaction abilities.

Plus I get bored moaning about things in an abstract manner.

I read the thread about Gendanken et al, it was itneresting in a silly sort of way. Peoples naievete online is quite interesting, let alone the one-up-manship. Fortunately its a game I dont really play.

i find this forum to be actually quite temperate... i come from nasty nasty internet places

 

What's so interesting is how seriously people begin to take themselves and others, regardless of the "I really don't care what you think, loser. *Flips hair.*" on this forum. The amount of energy they put into pulling eachother's character apart and stomping on their faces is quite... telling.
