Ahh.. it looks like it uses slashcode. I read slashdot all the time, though I must admit I post there very little. I've always like their moderation style, though. I've always thought that a vBulletin board that had a karma-type rating based on the ratio of "buddy" to "ignore" lists a member was on would be useful.
Hey, U r making me look like a spammer, Thats not spam link. I hate SPAM but I hate Moderators more. If U didnt find a forum because not only did U not look hard the bottomline that on line but U did not even care to Login. But I am happy now that future is bright. Hence forth no dumb mod can make me Weail. http://www.sciscoop.com/special/browse http://www.sciscoop.com/search Anyways I am out of SciF for now.
Call me crazy, but when someone gives me a link to a forum I expect to see a forum after I click on it. I do not expect a quest to search for the holy forum of forums. But i am a nutter so maybe it is just me.
Freedom of expression is what U should be thinking about. SciForums is mother of All Sci Forums but I am young and she is old. PS> I have a fair Idea Who U r.
In theory a self-moderating system works. In practise however, you've got all the idiots the world wants to throw your way trying to throw THE biggest wrench in the works.
