the Congress has declared no war. The military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq have been decared ACCOMPLISHED. Iraq has held it's free election prompting a number of RWingers to state WE WON! (what I'm not sure) There is no identifiable Country which has declared war on us. We have not been attacked in any form in the US since 9/11 according to Bush himself. Consequently...calling Bush a Wartime President makes literally NO sense. Moreover, Bush investing himself with special powers based on his role as Commander during Wartime makes...you got it...literally NO sense. Major Combat Operations are OVER. So speaketh the King. therefore NO WAR. Any questions?

That article is full of shit. Carter nor Clinton authorized illegal searches like Bush did. "As far as the post-9/11 AUMF is concerned, it authorized the president to use military force against any state, or any non-state actor, that may have been involved in the 9/11 attacks." So, are you saying that Iraq was involved in 9/11? If so, you are wrong. (There may be a war on al-qaida, but not on Iraq or Afghanistan.) This article is based on the fact that we're still in a war with Iraq and Afghanistan which is just not true. It's an opinion article with conclusions drawn........Actually i don't know how this person came up with these conclusion but these are nonetheless, WRONG!
