Just in case this thread is getting lonely... Does anyone know about anthropology and archaeology? The anthropologists and archaeologists probably do. As those groups grew larger, certain people became free to specialise in things other than food production. And so civilisations grew. Is there a gradual trend of the developmant of human civilizations? There's a trend towards technological advancement. Social advancement seems to be more of a series of steps backwards and forwards.
Dreamsa ... Yes. No. They all tend to eventually destroy little green blobs that bounce up and down and wave their arms up and down. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Take care Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Non-Zero Hi Dreamsa Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Here is a site that might be of interest. http://www.nonzero.org/ It is about game theary and the "evolution" of human co-operation. The book is on-line at http://www.nonzero.org/app1.htm I have the book and I've nearly finished. I found the ideas presented appealing.
From what I have learned and seen, all human civilizations have had the same themes when it came to religion and mythology, but under different names and social practices.
In one word: Perfect. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Welcome to sciforums! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Dreamsa, I do...and zion... and Don H... Evolution... we were nomads and became sedentary. Began with agriculture, reproduced until the world is so crowded that almost 90% (if not more) of the virgin forests are destroyed and we are almost destroying ourselves... That's evolution... That's civilization... At least in the majority's conception... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Yes. The interesting thing is that we are allways doing the same mistakes...
