I picked up a computer game at Cosco last week for my kid--Delta Force 2. It's a combat simulation which can be play online. I was wondering if anyone else has it. Me and my kid are having a blast with it.

It's kind of old. Actually, Delta Force 3 is kind of old already. But I played Delta Force from 1 to 3, all of them are very good if played online.

    daktaklakpak,

I've purchased the Land Warrior version recently, and I've been competing online through Nova World. I thought I would have lost interest by now, but it's still fun. All I need now is a cable connection to help with the lag.

the best games online are broodwar and jedi knight.

In my humble opinion of course. Broodwar has thousands of players but jk has sadly only two hundred at most.

    Pollux V

I will have to give broodwar a look. Since purchasing Delta Force 2, I've been in a feeding frenzy for online games. Recently I have purchased:

    Delta Force 2
    Delta Force Land Warior
Operation Flashpoint (I had lots of trouble with this game)
    Half-Life Counter-Strike
    Soldier of Fortune (very graphic)
    Jetfighter IV

We already had Jedi Night and Mech Warrior but have yet to play them online.

As you can imagine, my kid is encouraging my software binge.

    I can imagine.

I haven't bought a new game in awhile because my computer just fell below the minimum system requirements, but that problem's about to be solved with a 256 mb RAM upgrade and a new video card. I did, however, order Anarchy Online about a week ago and am eagerly waiting for it to make it to my door, since now that its been patched magazines and internet sites have been giving it rave reviews. If you didn't know already Anarchy Online is a Massively Multiplayer RPG, based totally on the internet in an artificial world.

Hmm... Anarchy. That sounds interesting. Something of an ongoing deathmatch? Have you any relative links?

I haven't tried it yet but I believe it's basically killing things and becoming more powerful in an artificial world.

    Here's some links I found:

    http://www.anarchy-online.com/

    http://www.anarchylore.com/

And here's the gamespot (my favorite pc games website) review:

    http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,913777,00.html

The review is outdated as the game has been patched but you should probably take a look at it before you know what you're getting into (even if the game is only $20)
