I'm new here - so excuse me for asking...

Any of you looking for little green men, via the Berkeley application?

    TEAM PHOENIX RISING

Well the reason I ask is because our team - Phoenix Rising is looking for new members.

So if your disenchanted with your current team, don't belong to a team or thinking that you've heard of the seti distributed computing project and want to get involved. Then why not come along to our forum and do just that, get involved -

Click here to visit Team Phoenix Rising's Forum

    Look forward to your visit

    I'm in the game too

I got ADSL this week and at the same time signed for seti@home.
The best solution for me and my PC, when I'm not working.

Well ploughing a lone furrow searching for the existance of little green men, by looking for a possible intelligent source of radio waves collected from the arecibo radio telescope, is somewhat dull. If you join a team, for example the team that I am in Team Phoenix Rising then it no longer remains a lonely pursuit.

Team Phoenix Rising is a dominantly UK based team that is ranked just outside the top 100 teams involved in the Berkeley Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. The way it works is by team work, where like minded individuals process seti work units in friendly competition, and as you know team work leads to increased production and with this case for the betterment of science.

I think Berkeley is down at the moment, so that may be the cause of your problems.

Never mind team Phoenix, y'all should join <A HREF="http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=sciforums.com">team sciforums</A> because, as I said in another post, we're really sucking right now.

I said <A HREF="http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_lookup&name=sciforums.com">team sciforums</A> is doing poorly ... you don't need to rub it in!!

Even more reason to join our team. There's more glory to be had.

I wouldn't want our non-British blood to taint your esteemed organization. Besides, once I power up my dual-800MHz PPC up to full crunching-speed, you'll be wanting to join my team.
