I'm trying to find some color photos of the space station. I want to know what it looks like with the naked eye on a clear night. Is it just a dot like most communications satellites? Or can you see a shape? Shuttle pictures are wanted as well.
Most photos I see are taken from space. I can't find any from ground observers. A 50mm photo would be good to see.

Also what color is it? does it look white, green, red?

Do any known satallites orbiting have a green hue to them?

    Thanks for any links.

You can actually see from the ground? Didn't know that. Cool though. The international space station is a really exciting project because it is the first craft that can conyinue to stay in space supporting life for very long times. No pics though
