Well, I like Arts a lot, have seen beautiful drawings, but don't know exactly by whom. That is a pity, for I can't give you the name of such artist.:p
Ever looked at Bebelina's homepage? she makes Art, in a different way, but it is Art. Give it a try, perhaps you like it very well.
And Music is so dear to me, can't live without it, not a second, but I can't listen to it every second of the day and night. Sometimes you have to do things without your favorite music, but as soon as I get home, the Music play's again, oh yes.;)
You look it up in the thread Favorite Bands and Mucisians.
There I posted the most of them, but still I forget some of them to mention, because there is so much beautiful Music I love.
And Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones belong certainly in the toplist.:)

If they just happened to pick the name Bobby Lee first and have a profile that looks like you, well, hmm. Maybe you have a doppleganger.

I too am pissed off that somewhere out there a mini-army of "David Watanabe"s are pursuing successful careers in the public spotlight (or at least the public gutter behind the spotlight), possibly corrupting the purity of my name and my chances to make it big on the silver screen (or whatever). Alas, you think my parents would have been more creative than to marry a solid Christian name (feh) with perhaps the most common Japanese family name. If they really wanted to take the theme to its obvious conclusion, they should have called me "Jesus Watanabe". I guess that I'll make that my screen name.

So that really is you? Alright, that's very cool. I must admit the steel guitar does have an awesome sound to it.
Anyways, back on subject. The first thing I would do is contact the webmasters of those sites. If someone is truly trying to pretend to be you (more than just coincidental name), let the webmasters know so they can take action. I know that if that were happening on sciforums, I would take prompt action. Hopefully the operators of the sites are sufficiently decent people that they will recognize the gravity of the situation and respect your requests.
However, if they drag their feet or ignore you, you might have to threaten legal action or take things up to their internet provider. But, again, hopefully this won't be necessary.

Garth Brooks has certainly made his way from rags to riches. Coming from a small Oklahoma town not far from Ponca City Okla.
He played in every club in the state it seemed, over a 10+ period of time.
After a long process of getting a portfolio togather he made a break for Nashville, leaving the love of his life at home, to try to enter the ranks of the very few who ever make it in the Music Business.
After being drilled by the ranks so to speak, he returned home to his life long love....Broke, in more ways than one. His heart was also broken, because he really believed in himself, and the messages he was writing in his Music..
Well there is a happy ending to this story. He was contacted by a AR record spokes person, and the rest is history.....see biography?
Catch GARTH BROOKS and friends on Thanksgiving night for a STAR studded show.....
He got his "SATISFACTION".........good job Garth, and God bless!
*(this is a two part series.....more to come on the rest of the STARS who will Join Garth...)
I once had the pleasure of seeing him perform years ago in a small Oklahoma town....
My opinion is,
Its his Heart toward the almighty thats the real story of a STAR!

Bobby Lee, I know a little of Garth Brooks songs, but didn't know this story about him. Nice to tell it, for it is always nice to know how some Mucisians live or have lived.;)
Though I know a lot of Artists who play their Music right from the Heart and didn't have a happy ending....really sad these Mucisians had to die in such rotten way...
Porfiry, I like that Jezus thing you mention.
Can I call you Jezus then, the next time? Do you still give handkisses then? It would be a pity if you should leave that behind with Dave (David)...:p

Bobby Lee, I was referring to the reply of Porfiry, above, look at it.
He says that if he wants to, he could change his name into Jezus, to play another character so to say. Here at Sciforums.
I was replying to him. Read my former post and that one of Porfiry, above, you shall immediately see what I mean. I even said his name before my reply to him, look at the former posts. Ok?.;)
Nothing wrong with Bobby Lee, oh no...
I like to talk to you and reply to what you have to say, really, no bother to me. Bobby Lee is a fine name and a fine person, believe me.:)
Do you have some other Mucians you know off and want to tell something about them?
The story about Garth Brooks was nice to read. I always like to know how good Mucians live or have lived their lifes.
Hope to talk to you soon.
Have a nice day.

Okay, thanks...
Here is some more;
Larry King live yesturday had Paul McCartney on his late night show.
Paul as everyone knows was a former member of the "The Beatle", but after a fued between members of the Beatles, concerning a recording with APPLE records, he and the " Beatles" broke up. Paul and John Lennon, Ringo Star, George Harrison went their own way.
Paul and Linda(Former Wife) played for years togather as performer song writers, and toured extensively with the group"Wings."(Over America)
To me he has not changed one bit. He's still the sporting chap he's always been. Not to mention still a great writer.
While Paul came from humble beginnings in Britian, he never forgot how easy it was to lose what you have.
He currently has a performing Arts School in England and is active in its administration. I will also add, he does a damn good job at it to.
Come to think of it, he does a pretty good Job at most things he does. What can one expect from a Knight the Queen commisioned?
*comment
It so hard to mention the above groups without the other members. I mean no slam to any of them, I will write later on their careers as well.
The "Beatles White Albums" is probably the most controversial of all the recordings that the "Beatles" evr did. It left a mystery to this day at the real meanings of some of the songs.
Charles Mansion whom was prosecuted in the late sixties along with the "CHILDREN", swore that the "Beatles" where sending him messages. Songs like "Helter Skelter", and Piggy, Piggy!"
After exhausting investigations into this allegation, there was no link ever established.
However, one does wonder though when songs like "Sexy Sadie" where writtin, "Sadie Thompson" was a Mansion Child?
Or was that Madison.....
How about Leslie Van Houghton...or was that Hugoton?
to continue,
Paul scored hit after hit with the band "WINGS OVER AMERICA", there shows where state of the art, and a major production live by anyone's standards..
I was lucky enought to have seen them in the old "MIRIAD" at the fair grounds in Oklahoma City, not far from where I was raised.
Band On the Run, Silly Love Songs, Uncle Albert, ect.., and so many more are music Icons to this day?
One song I remember him commenting on that was off the "White Albums" was a song called "Martha My Dear!" It was a harpscord sounding tune.
Paul later commented it was about his "OLD ENGLISH SHEEP DOG!"

Bebelina, guess it is not so hard to do to confuse other members, for we have a lot of times the same opinion. Though you always tell it in a more Sunny way.;) :p
Bobby Lee, thank you for the information about Paul McCartney.:)
Most of it I knew already, but the later things you tell about him and what he is doing now, I did not know. Thank you.
Jennifer Lopez...well...don't like her so much, sorry, but I like to read about the singing stars them all, so it is nice to read something more about her. Don't know a thing about her, just not so fond of her music.;)
The information about Charles Manson I did not know...A rather scary person that was, terribly violent together with the group he was surrounded with. He killed several humans, just like that, without any reason. Crazy creature....really.
What you are telling about Sexy Sadie might be true, but I wonder...
The Beatles making a song for one of C. Mansions helpers??
Charlie Daniels I know a few songs by him. Nice to read this information, for I am always curious how Mucisians live(d).

Hi Bobby Lee, there has been some research done here for you, to find out who exactly sang this song.
It is coming from a movie called Black Jack and the woman who sings this song is now known by the name of Toni Braxton.
At the moment, the movie was there and she sang this song, she had a different former name. She changed it later on in her life.
One Tin Solider Coven/Original Caste
They don't allow you to copy the link and neither do I have the lyrics for you.
Toni Braxton herself has come up with a new c.d., so if you want to listen to that one, you have to go to the music store and listen there a little bit. It is the Blues she is singing on the new c.d.:)
Don't you love the Blues? What about Still Got The Blues by Gary Moore? Beautiful song.....
Well, I hope you can do something with this information on One Tin Soldier.
I am sure they know about this particular song in the music store.
Why don't you just go and ask it there? ;)
Perhaps some relative or friend of yours has this song on tape or so and you can copy it...

HEY YO Bobby E Lee McGhee !
just curious to know where on Fleet Street you live !
and for conversational content, I find Garth Brooks
THE TOTAL personification ANTITHESIS of the
Country & Western genre, devoid of feeling,
blandly expressionless, and quite frankly I am alarmed
insofaras this new Big Encilada Tim McGraw follows suit.
Do you figure this to be symptomatic of the homogenization

LordDeLaWar, the Netherlands is a real 'paradise' if you compare it with the U.S.
No stupid laws and rules, much more freedom there and nobody can come look at what you have been doing at your p.c. if they have the idea you did something wrong. (illegal in the police's eyes, Law)
That is a lot different then in the U.S. where the police checks everybody out and have the right all of a sudden to search your car if they have a lightly suspicion of smoking some good Marijuana.
All legal in the Netherlands. Which doesn't count for alcohol. If they stop you in the Netherlands, most of the time they check if you have not been drinking. If you have been drinking, they take away your drivers license for some time. And of course they check your drivers license and roadtaxeses and if you have an automobile insurance.
Guess the police in the Netherlands is much more friendly also.
But this is real off-topic.:)
So let's continue with Bobby Lee's thread about Mucians. Ok?
The Janis Joplin story I know very well, just like Jimi Hendrix. They were around at the same time and had both a rotten death...Real sad...For these 2 are great Mucians and their Music lives on.

Jimmy Hendrix was a music icon, unfortunately he had a "Monkey" on his back called heroin.
His upside down guitar playing is still considered to be tops.
He came along in a period of civil reform.
Jimmy gets a 10, on the scale of 1-10 on the artist scale.
With songs like "Purple Haze" and "Hey Joe" he contributed to the 60's revolution.......get it, listen to it, enjoy.......

Janis Joplin has no match, of course no original artist does. Its their own stuff.
With the last album she made "PEARL" she sold kazillions of copys.(Thats a lot...lol)
Songs like "Me and Bobby McGee" and so many others she is still a music icon to this day.
As others, she had a hard time with fame, a "Monkey on her back, and a set of personal issues from childhood. It made for a passionate singer unmatched, but it was a lethal combination.

This may all be fine and good if your a young pup doin it for the money! Did the critiques ever stop to think that after 50million dollars or so that these artist do for the ART??
They dont have to compete anymore to pay major label overhead and costs.
WHERE HAS THE BRAIN OF THE CRITIQUES GONE?
On a competitive level, none could rival the Stone on a live performance level. Anyone commenting on this hasnt been to a concert of Micks and the Stones, if they had...well?
Paul McCartney doesnt need the approval of the snip noses, and neither does Mick, they are doing it because they are real artists who enjoys what they do best!

Well Bobby Lee, that are a nice couple of Mucians you mention there. :)
Jimi Hendrix I have on c.d., what do you think. I am his best fan, since the day I heard his Music for the first time. I was around 9 years old then, so go figure out. I was an early bird what Music concerns, but my parents kept me away from buying certain Music, for they didn't like it at all.
Same goes for Janis Joplin, though I don't have her on c.d.
It is a real pity these Mucians died in such a rotten way. I really feel sad about that. But that is another story.
Travis and Creed are good Music, oh yes. I know them very well.:) Good Music....
The Rolling Stones I have seen performing live...,Great show, I love them. But you are right in saying that they are around and still kicking for such long time now, that they are like an Icon in Music land. Same goes for Paul McCartney, heard him on the radio yesterday with Wings, 'Band on the Run'...
I am sorry to say so, but I really don't like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. They have the looks alright, but do not have the right Music for me.
Hope I don't upset you by saying so. It is just another opinion. No critic on you or what so ever.:)

Pink is the next Madonna, definately not Britney Spears. Don't ask me why, I just think so. That new album of hers is a total new thing than her last. Yet enough of this. Pink isn't of much value, as are most of today's new musicians. I'm not counting on bands, either. Excluding Radiohead, they all tend to get a little too blearyheaded and predictable. I'm counting on singer-songwriters, Alicia Keys, David Gray, Jill Scott etc.
Wow, I haven't posted for awhile. How stupid I must sound. Anyone take a look at 'Foursquare Centres'? What was that I wrote? I really don't know. Nor do I care to. You try to make your own sense of it, cause I'm not even going to attempt it.
So, it turns out Heinz is the thickest afer all. Followed by Hunt's, Disney World official. How about a thread for rebuilding the WTC? I think I'll do that.
Sorry, anyone in this thread. I have just used you for my personal thoughts. And did you hear....

Everybody has his/her own favorite Musicians.
There is so much going on in Music land now a days and there are good Mucisians and worse Mucisians among them.
I prefer the older Music, but there are a few good ones who are not that old and make good Music these day's.
Like The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith.
Older Musicians, but still making the same good Rock 'n Roll...;)
And then there is one new Musician who I think makes good Music: MUSE...wonderful, great Artist...

Yes, Pink Floyd rules. Always...
But I love Eric Clapton also really much. Have albums by him, what do you think?:)
As far as 10CC concerns, I love some songs made by them when they were in the old formation. When they split up it became less good then before and it was a little good I think in the old formation.
I love the song 'I am not in love...' - Great song. And there was one I forgot the name of, but Lol Cream sung it not Eric Stewart who does 'Iam not in love...'
Do you know which one I mean Bobby Lee? It was a big hit back then. 'Carol' or something like that. A girls name any way.
Good to hear you love such great Music.;)
(hear P.Floyd at the radio now, while I am typing...great!)

Ill have to go back to that one, as soon as I can find the Album? I know that Layla was a hit, but I didnt think Cream Did it when Clapton was with them. I could be wrong. These bands are a generation ahead of me. The White Room by Cream was a good one, and many others.
I did hear some Gordon Lightfoot today, Lay Down Sally, and The Edmond Fitzgerald. I kinda like the ballad stuff.
I also heard one that I use to listen to by Pure Prairie League "Amy"..
Do you dig the Eagles?
gotta go for now....
Ill get back to ya on the Cream stuff, I think.......lol
I still like the Beatles White Albums songs, not all of them, but alot of them? "Day In A Life!"
How about Paul Revere and the Raiders, "Stepping Stone", and "Kicks?" I think the Monkeys did one of these also??
Did you remember Sweet?
bye for now....

There you name some great Musicians. :)
Totally forgot to mention Gary Moore and the Eagles. Great Music. You know 'Still Got The Blues' by Gary Moore, for instance? Great song, great guitar...download it...you can find it at the Internet and download it at your computer. My son has it and plays it every day.;)
I was referring to 10CC with that song called 'Carol' or something. One of the members of 10CC is called Lol Cream.
The band Cream is something completely different, with Eric Clapton in the leadrow, wonderful, as everything made by Eric Clapton.:) In Cream and as a solo Artist.
And I remember The Sweet yes, even got a little single-record by them. Wasn' t that fond of them, some songs yes...
Heart I love...good Music you have found again Bobby Lee...great.
Go on please, I remember more and more as soon as you mention them.;) Forget the half of the great Musicians I love, to mention most of the time...Love so much Music...

You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave...:)
By the way, that song by 10CC is called 'Donna', I remembered it all of a sudden, yesterday evening.
What about Lou Reed, heard him on the radio last night with 'Walk On The Wildside'. Love that song, but prefer 'Sweet Jane' and then the 'live' version. Great guitar in that one...;)
I forget a lot of the great Mucians and then all of a sudden I hear them on the radio. Real great to hear.
What about U2? You don't like them?

Yeah...I have been to a concert by U2 last July 31st.
Man, what Music and what a show. Wonderful. When they came up to start the concert, the base was rolling through the floor, right into your body.:)
Great, I just want to go another time, and again and again. great Music, great Artists and a great show.
I know U2 from their start. Have seen them play several times and it stays great.;)
What about INXS? Do you know about them? They have made some nice Music. But the leadsinger died and the Band is no more. A real pity, for they made such nice Music...
Just got The Doors album: 'Greatest hits' for christmas. Great Music...70 minutes non stop Thje Doors...wonderful.:)
And the c.d. 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' by Pink Floyd. Guess I don't have to say anything about that one. Oh, so wonderful...

SIGUR-ROS!
Go out and buy the CD 'Agaetis Byrjun'!
When I first heard it I cried.
I don't know exactly how big this band is in Europe, but in the US, they've got no public profile at all, and you really have to look for the album. But in Europe, I don't know, maybe they're already huge.

Banshee:
Zwan are a recently formed group (somewhere in mid 2001). They consist of indie rockers David Pajo (Slint, Papa M), Matthew Sweeny (Chavez), Ex-Smashing Pumpkins Frontman Billy Corgan and Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. The Influences of the group include the Doors, The Rolling Stones, U2, Pink Floyd, New Order, R.E.M, Blues Music alltogether, Bob Dylan, and the members former groups (similarities are unavoidable)... The music is very multi-dimensional, spanning from 9 minute Doors like rock epics (like Jesus I) to uplifting dream rock (Glorious). Because the band is still a work in progress, there is plenty of room for experimentation. As far as I know they have four seperate incarnations (Zwan, The True Poets of Zwan, Djali Zwan, Zwan?). Each with distinctively different sounds, different melodies, lyrical styles. I think its safe to say at this point though that a great deal of the music is either very relaxed with a timeless feel to it, or cosnsists of upbeat love anthems with depth. They are a very intimate band.
Because frontman Billy is a workaholic 80+ songs have already been cemented but only 40 have been performed live at the six small club shows they have played so far. Despite the unfinished lyrics, minimal rehearsal time and vocal limitations (that haven't seemed to be a problem thus far) I can really see this band being a positive and refreshing addition to anyones musical collection. First album details haven't been released. Though I do believe recording begins early Febuary.
Websites: www.zwanmusic.net (most of The emerson lake show is available to listen too under the 'songs' section though there have been problems.

Congragulations:
There does seem to be a little bit of a buzz around Sigor Ros around here even though they are about as far away from mainstream as is possible. 'Agaetis Byrjun' is very refreshing and enjoyable to listen to, especially late at night because it just has those kind of ambient/chamber dynamics that make it so. Its' great not understanding anything about them, or the words that are sung on the album. It keeps them mysterious and interesting, open for interpretation.
Another album I would reccomend to everyone is New Order's 'Get Ready'. It's excellent.

In my opinion the music market is a little stale, excluding some ovious hits of course. I think the scene is changing and not everyone who is hip now will make the transition. It happens to the best.......
