A shout box is like a guestbook/IRC here is some info about it....

The idea is retarded. You know what kind of crap would get posted on the thing? All the 12 year olds would be all over it like stink on shit. Maybe it would keep them out of threads though. But we'd be forced to look at their swill instead of knowing which threads to avoid.

(By the way, not necessarily dogging the 12 year olds. More the mentality which is often possessed by people twice their age and not by the 12 year old themselves.)

Nah, that chatroom wasn't me, it was combine's idea and he created it. Also, for those who really want to, use IRC go on Freenode.net and then join the room #sciforums.

I personally do not like chatrooms, so I would not create them.
