I believe IBM scientists years ago developed techniques for teleportation of single atoms- New Scientist. However, I find it hard to comprehend the successful experiment of complex, mulitple molecule trans. (even duo-atom). Sounds like *Twilight Zone mode on* Philadelphia Experiment stuff.

    macroteleport.com is an art site

    http://www.macroteleport.com

appears to be a sculptor's site rather than a scientific site. This guy is in it for the art.

The teleportation devices pictured at the site do not work.

Anyone who has a STM could say they had a transporter I think.

Would I be right in saying that if there was a semiconductor embedded in his sculpture he could say it was a transporter?

The only real transporting I know about is the quantum tunnelling of electrons across a potential energy barrier.

    Davinci was an artist

I have heard macroteleport defend themselves by saying Leonardo Davinci was an artist also. Should all of Davinci's inventions be dismissed as art also? Where would we be without gears?
JR, how can you so easily say it doesn't work? Is that easier than trying to see what they are doing?

    Why octahedrons?
Why do they have those coils?
Why do they flip that thing upside down and sideways?
What are they using the computers for?
If it is art, who the hell would buy it?
Why have they gone to so much detail just for "art"?
Why are the pictures not taken in a gallery or mueseum?

I don't know how much art you have seen, but I have never seen anything like that. The other site it is linked to, looks like art, but the macroteleport site is just plain WEIRD! Yeah this guy is an artist, and maybe it's this creative vision that is doing something new!

    More questions...
What are the switches above the guys head in the TV photos?
What kind of power could he be pushing, both ac and dc through this thing with an ac generator shown in the project 17 photo?
What are the ycoils? How are they used in conjunction with the capacitors mentioned in the diagram?

Upon looking at those photos again.... THERE IS WAY TO MUCH DETAIL TO BE JUST ART !!!!

This isn't even an elaborate hoax. I was hoping for a goofy MPEG with some stop motion effects and maybe a little lighting effects. Only JPEGS, we all know how that goes...
