Canadian science forum links to Australia.

Hi there I have just discovered your forum and was impressed by your Physics section and have decided to try and link a thread up to both our forums. Ps it's 4 in the morning here so it is a bit slow.

The forum can be found here.

If you want to go to the live link between the two forums go here.

I hope I can welcome you over to Sciforums also, You never know a few of us might crop up sitting in the shadows of your Australian servers in our various Pseudonyms.

I think David W (Porfiry) would mention that although Sciforums is a US server, many people from Europe also adon it (and that's not just myself and others from Great Britain)

I hope to see some great debates, topics and discussion come from the links and perhaps a post or two at this end

Thanks for the welcome Stryderunknown, I'm gong to have to get to bed though, hope to catch up with you later. There will be a few Aussies up in about 3 hours and then we may get some questions or debate.

I know quite a number of people here have wanted to speak to Americans over the past month.

We seem to love our black holes and big bang discussions quite a bit over here as well.

    Cheers from Australia.

    Welcome, John, illuminati

Thanks for linking the two forums. It's always wonderful to have some cross-pollination of ideas.

And yes, the server is US based, but sciforums is distinctly international. I myself am Canadian (though I am seriously looking at Australia as a destination for graduate school -- I might have to ask your opinion about that

), and a large portion of our members are European.

    Enjoy your stay.

    Hello Everyone.
I'm Sarah, from the Australian Forum.
This place looks pretty wicked. Thanks for your big welcome.
Make yourselves at home in our forum too.
I'm a high school student, in Tasmania. I'm studying preforming arts and drama at school. It's wicked. I dont actually do any sciences, but I'm really interested anyway.

Check out my web page, to see some pictures of me.

    Hi everybody,

Yes, I'm another Australian taking a quick look at your forum. Looks impressive so far, and gives me a few ideas for possible improvements to our one, which is here:

    <a href="http://www2b.abc.net.au/science/k2/stn/" target="_blank">ABC Self-Service Science Forum</a>

Now, let's take a better look at what you've got here...

Solution to the patent overcrowding on the SSSF! Just move 'em all in here!

(To all Americans: if you ever happen to pop by the SSSF during the day, you'll find that it's pretty damned busy...it's pretty much impossible to keep up with all the yakking tht goes on in a day
