Cheap OEM software: Safe to buy?

    Two URL's were sent to me from an unknown source. Both claim to sell OEM software very cheap. They sell CD only with no documentation.

    Is is safe to buy from such sources? Anybody here with experience with such sites? I have bought as cheaply at computer shows, so it looks reasonable.

    If you didn't go looking for it then don't use it. Thats usually the best strategy, although the OEM creation of software is usually done for companies that build computers, I guess if they can't build computers competatively then they probably just sell the OEM software at a knock down price.

    But as mentioned it could just be a con.
