Mac OS X Bootdisk

    I’m having trouble finding a boot disk for Mac OS X, I’ve been told I could make
    one just using the 'Disk utility' but as its for a friend who's Mac is already broke...
    its harder than it sounds especially when I’m unfamiliar with Mac's...

    So can someone point me in the right direction for a download of a Mac OS X
    Bootdisk that just needs downloading and copying to a disk

    It used to be easy with OS9 - just copy 5 items to a floppy=boot disk.

    Now, however, it's next to impossible. You need to buy a copy of DiskWarrior or burn a copy of an OSX installer disk; making one by hand is not really an option...

    What do you need a boot disk for? There should be a way around it...
