Worst sites for me consist of bad design and difficulty in navigation.

A lot of sites these days are contentless Flash overdosed spectacles which gets annoying.

I did come upon this site once which was a portfolio for a group of artists....everything except the artwork itself on the site was upside down. Now as artsy as they tried to be the novelty wore off in about 2 seconds when it became a headache to read everything upisde down.

Overly dramatic sites like the one mentioned above get taxing on the nerves fast. Also cheaply built sites from frontpage.....they look so ugly.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Some people have complained about some of the sites that Southstar has posted because the sites are "Malicious" by nature. The sites in question don't put viruses on your machine, however what they do is cause Internet Explorer to Crash and even the OS to lock-up.

If you go to these sites you should be made aware of this, although I'm not removing them because you can use these sites to test if your Blocker or Anti-Virus guards actually work or not. (It's been shown that Norton should stop the first site).

If you can't block these particular sites or have something that stops them doing what they do, then I would suggest in looking for something that does, since the internet is more than likely to have a few of these sites waiting for you to surf upon without invitation.

Not trojan dropping as far as I can see. Its quite nicely done, actually.

Aye, sorry I didn't know the site had a trojan. I use Mozilla so I didn't even know that the site could move the window or anything. I thought it was only a flash animation.

    Terribly sorry, I'll delete it.

EDIT: Again, I am sorry. My antivirus never picked anything up and I just wanted to be a little humorous. I replaced the link with a similar site with no trojan if you want to share with friends.

Actually there isn't a Trojan as such. Norton is just a little OVER PROTECTIVE.

You can read what it actually is here:
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.offiz.html

Simply put because it targets IE so you can't close your browser down with CTRL+ALT+DEL or use your mouse to do so (and note its only IE, Firefox you can close it down with no problems.)

It doesn't infect your system, or drop viruses, or alter anything on your system... It's just presumably annoying if your viewing it through IE.

Note, it is a joke site, no adult content or anything like that.

SouthStar what is your fucking problem, first you post a site that my antivirus program tells me is evil. Then you post a site that locks my computer up by opening up an infinate amount of popups.

How are these sites funny? Do you giggle every time someone clicks on the link?

First of all, I think it's been settled that the first site had no trojan.

The second site, I gave a warning to first. Bold and all caps. This is after all, 'The Worst Web Sites' thread. If you look at the clause, you see it says 'good sense of humor'.

If you went ahead, with all that in mind and still clicked on it then I really don't know what to tell you.
