View Full Version : Reality being elusive lately?
So, has anyone else made the experience that reality has become a bit elusive lately?
Today, as I was about to vacuum, I first took the blowdryer ... it took me a while to figure out it wasn't the vacuum cleaner.
The other day I watched a documentary I taped for school ... and I thought it was live on tv, so I pressed the record button ... only to realize that that thing is already taped, and not on tv.
I took a fork to slice strawberries ...
Gosh, I think I am going a bit crazy ... This has got to stop!
rosa, im starting to agree with you
i was talking on the phone to someone and a phone rang on the tv. i was halfway to the door before i realised that i already was on the phone

I'm terribly sorry, RosaMagica. I would share my run-ins with reality colapsing before my very eyes . . . but I'm kinda tired as of now. Don't worry, I'll think of something.
We all have our moments. And let me tell ya, if ya think yer goin' krazy, that's a sure-fire sign yer NOT :D. Anyway, later . . .

P.S. What's the "Je suis dans . . ."? From the little Francais I know, it's "I am somethingsomethingsomething".

Hey, thanks Dreamwalker. If it were German I'd be able to figure it out . . . I'm studying it.
Well, I won't be in the garden much longer ...

Hey RosaMagica, are ya still having moments of reality colapsing before yer eyes? It's been a couple months, after all. :D

I had a deja vu yesterday during dinner party. The people were first skeptic. Deja vu's didn't exist, and then they started talking about there own deja vu's. I apparently have more than average. Maybe it is because I have a vivid imagination.

in the last week i have:
-drunk half a cup of coffee before realising i forgot to add sugar
-drunk an entire cup of sugar before realising i forgot to add coffee
-choked on my coffee powder becuase i forgot to put milk in the cup
-tipped half a jar of coffee powder in without realising it, drank it anyway
-finished a cup of coffee then tried to drink it again because i forgot i already drank it
-nuked a half full cup of coffee for the regular 2 minutes then took 2 sips before i realised it was burning my mouth
-spilled my coffee and started brooming it before i remembered: MOP
-put the coffee jar in the fridge
-almost put jam in because i got it confused with the coffee jar
-used the spoon i forgot was covered in peach syrup and got some really bad coffee
im sure i can remember some more once ive had my coffee

I nearly lost track of a whole week because one of my days (at least some hours) were exactly as I dreamt them the previous week. So I somehow thought I dreamt the time in between.

Wow, it's been two months, yes.

A deja vu isn't a matter of having a "vivid imagination" -- deja vu's happen because of glitches in the Matrix. Meaning that someone is trying to invade the system. I'd keep my eyes perked, if I were you. :p
