Question about the post time

Why are the times different? When I posted a topic it said that it was 12:17 but I posted it at closer to 6:17. Is this forum in another country?

If you go to 'Control Panel', then to 'Edit Options' and down a ways you'll be able to set your time zone and instead of GMT you'll see the proper time.
