    For any that care to believe that technology rules and really believe that we'll soon have a black box that can beat a Beagle's nose, just another area where nature beats technology:
    Just in case you're not sure what they're talking about, it's the use of dolphins to detect and destroy mines from a 'Mine Counter Measures', MCM, vessel.

    Somewhere I read that scientists are working on a super nose to detect bombs in airport baggage and humans in earthquake rubble and hope to achieve K-9 capabilities in a few years (and few million dollar contraption). But I do not think we are anywhere to that level underwater.

    Copying natures millions of years advantage will take a looong time.
