    I think avatars for subscribers is nice, as it does produce some meager incentive to feed Porfiry. Making them free for everyone though is bad, they're annoying and unnecessary. Next we'll get signatures with images in them. Nnngh...

    If your pockets are empty wouldn't it be possible then to link to avatars from an external site?

    In that case you are not paying for the bandwith!
